Simulacrum versions

Simulacrum v1.1.0 was released in 2018. This version included information about patients diagnosed with cancer 2013-2015, details of their tumour diagnoses and systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) treatments (e.g. chemotherapy that they received). Simulacrum v1.2.0 was released in 2021 and included a broader range of diagnoses from years 2013-2017.

More recently, we have developed Simulacrum v2, which incorporates datasets containing information about radiotherapy treatments and somatic gene testing, in addition to tumour details and SACT treatments. A beta version, Simulacrum v2.0.0 was released 2022, that included diagnoses and gene tests from 2018.

The most recent release, Simulacrum v2.1.0, was published in April 2023. This version includes a broader range diagnoses and gene tests from years 2016-2019, as well as updates to the synthetic data generation method that improve the accuracy of certain statistical properties of data.
